Ignored by the media due to his long odds of defeating California Gov. Jerry Brown, Neel Kashkari took to the mean streets of Fresno to play the part of a homeless person for one week in order to highlight the ongoing problems of poverty and homelessness in a state supposedly in a state of recovery.
