IPTC: Caption	A man shot by a Pasadena police officer in October has filed a $500,000 claim for damages alleging excessive force, false imprisonment, battery, negligence and failure to summon medical assistance. The claim was filed April 14 by attorney Dale Galipo. Galipo also represents Anya Slaughter, the mother of Kendrec McDade.
