You know that the split between those who support Israel and those who support Palestine has become extreme when people who merely call for a ceasefire are accused of being extreme. Favoring a ceasefire, which is merely an interruption in an ongoing war, isn't even actual opposition to war. For supporters of Israel, however, no amount of brutality, death and carnage against the people of Gaza seems to be enough these days. In Europe, some governments have even banned peaceful demonstrations for...peace.
